Hello gentlemen.
I was unable to find the answer on my own, so I have to ask the experienced ones in here
I was thinking of doing a cargo flight, but the search in "find a flight" didn't come up with any results when I chose a freighter type.
What should I do to find these? I guess the routes/destinations are somewhat different than the passenger flights?
EDIT: Found out that when leaving the Airline selection blank, then some routes are showing...
Cheers,
Orjan.

eg Air France will come up with B777-200F routes if you select the 777-200F as equipment. Common equipment used for cargo is the 747-400F and 777-200F, both will show you routes with either equipment selected and you don't have any airlines selected. You can choose basically any route for cargo ops, but make sure your aircraft has the range to do the route, the freighters have a shorter range than the pax aircraft and of course, make sure you are rated to fly the aircraft. Blue skies to you!

Hi Orjan, i just started to fly cargo aswell.
I did like this:
Fly to EDDF Frankfurt, there is a cargo 747-8i route SV936 to Dammam Saudi Arabia, from there you can choose between: VABB Mumbai India, EDDF Frankfurt, VHHH Hong Kong-Chek Lap China, OMSJ Sharjah Arab Emirates.
And from there i have not looked yet...
Happy wings

Hi Fredrik!
That is a great idea! I will surely give it a go as soon as time permits.
Many thanks for that Blue skies!
EDIT: I just found a lot! of cargo flights!
And as usual I have a few questions:
- One flight was EHAM-LFPG as AF6748 Leg 6. Could I start with that flight, even though it is Leg 6?
- Also, many flights did not depart or arrive from either EHAM or LFPG, Like AF6746 Leg 2, HDAM-FMEE.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that flights should originate from EHAM or LFPG? Or did I just have a brainfart?
Cheers.

Hi Orjan, well actually you are allowed to fly whatever you want where you want IF you have the rating ofc.
I was used to hop around the world to do flight, but later on i started at EHAM and did alot of flights, and ended up in China where i flew around for about 32 cities.
The AF6748 Leg6: i think its just a leg number, if you search for AF6748 you get 6 different legs to fly. So yes you can fly a LEG6 route.

Thank you very much for the info Fredrik
Sounds great! Have to get started on them cargo flights...
Actually sounds like an interesting idea, to fly a lot of different cities before heading "home"... Would certainly see a lot of places.
Thanks again sir
